The Office des Changes participated in the annual meeting of The IMF Committee on Balance of Payments Statistics from October 26 to November 1, 2021.
This meeting was devoted exclusively to the process of updating the sixth edition of the Balance of Payments Manual which continues in parallel with the update of the 2008 system of national accounts, with a view to publish the two new manuals in March 2025.
This working session was characterized by the holding, for the first time, of a joint session with the Advisory Expert group on national Accounts in order to point out the importance of issuing foreign exchange statistics in accordance with international standards.
