The Office des Changes, in collaboration with the United Nations Statistics Division, will host the Meeting of the Task Team on International Trade Statistics from 6 to 9 May 2025 in Marrakech. The opening session of this high-level meeting, which will bring together several Moroccan institutions and international organizations, will be chaired by Ms. Nadia FETTAH Alaoui, Minister of Economy and Finance.
This event, which convenes international experts to address the challenges of updating methodologies for compiling external trade statistics, is part of the global momentum to strengthen the reliability, comprehensiveness, and comparability of international trade statistics.
Discussions during the meeting will focus primarily on finalizing the new methodological manuals prepared by the Task Team on International Trade Statistics (TT-ITS), based on the technical work and global consultations conducted since 2021. The adoption of the manuals is expected at the conclusion of this meeting.
