The Office des Changes announces the publication of an updated version of the Instruction governing foreign currency exchange activity, the previous version of which dated back to 2018. This Instruction sets out the conditions and procedures for carrying out foreign currency exchange activity by operators duly licensed to that effect.
This new regulatory text sets out all the administrative and reporting obligations incumbent upon currency exchange operators, specifies the conditions for carrying out and recording operations, and defines the minimum professional qualifications and standards of good repute to be observed by currency exchange companies.
