Indicators of foreign trade at the end of August 2023

At the end of August 2023, imports fell by 3.9% or -19.388 MDH standing at 471.860 MDH against 491.248 MDH at the end of August 2022. Conversely, exports amounted to 280.019 MDH against 279.511 MDH a year earlier recording an increase of 0.2% or +508 MDH. Thus, the trade deficit fell by 9.4% and the coverage rate stand at 59.3% against 56.9% a year earlier.
