The Office des Changes continues to supervise and support the companies authorized to exercise manual foreign exchange activity on measures to combat Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism.

Organized in the form of webinars, the training sessions of September 29 and 30, 2021, focused on the regulatory provisions governing the manual exchange activity and the good practices of the relationship " companies authorized to exercise manual foreign exchange activity -client" as well as on the obligations incumbent on this companies in the fight against Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism. 

Other seminars and training sessions will be scheduled soon for the benefit of companies authorized to exercise manual foreign exchange activity throughout the Kingdom.
 

The Office des Changes continues to organize digital meetings on aspects of foreign exchange regulations in order to best respond to the questions of the banks.

Delivered in favor of the “International Operations” commission of the Professional Group of Banks of Morocco (GPBM), the last training meeting organized on September 27, 2021 focused on the following topics: opening of foreign currency accounts for individuals not registered in the trade register, studies abroad as well as the basic principles of carrying out foreign exchange transactions.
 

As part of its participatory approach, the Office des Changes organizes working sessions for the benefit of various categories of national economic operators. In this context, a series of webinars was organized, from February 24 to March 9, 2021, on the theme "Exchange facilities granted to individual residents and non-residents in Morocco".

Complying with the prevention instructions against the spread of Covid-19, these virtual meetings mainly addressed the regulatory currency creeds concerning the endowment regime, the investment regime, the account regime as well as other various current operations, planned for the different categories of individuals.
