Indicators of foreign trade at the end of August 2021

At the end of August 2021, exports stand at 201.153MDH, the highest level reached during the same period over the last five years, up 38.655MDH or + 23.8% compared to at the end of August 2020. In parallel, imports increase by +63.565MDH or + 23.2%. Thus, the trade deficit stands at 136.540MDH, up 22.3% or 24.910MDH. The coverage rate remains almost stable (59.6% at the end of August 2021 against 59.3% at the end of August 2020).
