For the first four months of 2026, imports increased by 12,7%, reaching 295.901 million dirhams (MDH) compared to 262.594 MDH at the end of April 2025. Meanwhile, exports totaled 168.856 MDH, an increase of 8,7%, or 13.542 MDH, compared to the same period of the previous year. Consequently, the trade deficit widened by 18,4%. The coverage ratio decreased by 2 points.
